we acquired 70% interest in three projects. Um in return, they became our largest shareholder just under 20%.
two of the high ones I'll highlight was one was the Derby project right next to Cigar Lake.
We don't we have like a 600 m in either direction that hasn't seen a drill hole.
we have 5 m of it in the one drill hole. I mean, 1/2 m is, you know, over 13,000 counts per second
And that's where I started to build Cosa Resources from scratch into the uranium exploration company it is today.
a uranium exploration company with assets in Canada's Athabasca Basin
in March of this year, 2026, we intersected uranium Um you know, it was 5 m of 0.55% uranium, a half a meter of 1.7% uranium.
in March of this year, 2026, we intersected uranium Um you know, it was 5 m of 0.55% uranium, a half a meter of 1.7% uranium.
And so we completed that transaction in in January of 2025.
we listed in 2022, and really put our heads down for about a year trying to acquire as much ground as we could
We'll head back there in June. You know, it's turnkey. Like where this project is located, it's very simple. It's right next to logistics hub. Um we have all of our supplies up in that area. And so we begin drilling in June
we are waiting for which will give us the the actual percentage of uranium that's within the drill holes, which is an important next step for us. And so those are pending, you know, we hope to receive them, you know, in the next few weeks
Denison Denison owns 3% of the project. Um they they cover 30% of the costs, and they're very sup- portive of what we're doing
We're a team that's built for exploration and discovery in that part of the world.
really put our heads down for about a year trying to acquire as much ground as we could in the prolific Athabasca Basin in northern Saskatchewan.
when we ended up following up that 1%, you know, we ended up hitting stuff as high as 80% and that's what sent our share price from 30 cents to $6 in under 18 months
We obviously went on to make the Hurricane discovery. You know, that sent the share price from 30 cents to $6.
They pointed two members to our board, and they really maintained that ownership in us through multiple financings
Where where we hit the uranium is about 250-260 m down to the target depth. For perspective, you know, Cameco's great mine, Cigar Lake, McArthur River, all 400 m plus down.
the radioactivity is not limited to one area. You know, this this is these are spread 50 m apart in the north-south direction
And, you know, not all the deposits are located as good as the others, as you as you mentioned. The Athabasca Basin is located in northern Canada. There is, you know, conditions that can be, you know, rough, the climate, everything like that.
the mineralization is relatively shallow at roughly, I believe, 260 m that's vertical depth
Murphy Lake North, you know, the one we found, um where we've hit uranium, is located right next to the Hurricane deposit. It is it is within the vicinity of the McClean Lake mill, which is one of two operating mills in in the entire region.
It's drilling. It's is it's drill as much as you can. Um you know, I think we had this amazing story when we built it because we had the team.
Every claim above was said by Keith Bodnarchuk in the interview it is dated to, and carries their own words. Nothing is added from filings, and nothing has been checked against them. Transcripts are automated — clearly mis-heard words are corrected for readability, never figures, dates or the speaker's own hedges. Not financial advice: an executive discussing their own company has an interest in it.
